Stays hot!

I have used only the sandwhich maker plates so far, but I've been pleased with the performance. Makes a mean bacon grilled cheese in about 4 1/2 minutes. Clean up is easy, and the different plates are super easy to switch out. There are a few recipes in the instruction book, and I discovered fridge dough can be used instead of bread! I plan on making pizza pockets next, then try the grill plates for pancakes. The unit heats up quickly and cooks the sandwhiches uniformly. My only complaint is that once unplugged, it stays hot forever! We use this in our RV, where space is minimal, so I'd like to be able to put it away, but it sits out for over an hour while it cools. If I had to purchase again, I would definitely choose this 3 in 1 model again!

Better than expected

Super easy to use, and I love that the plates come out for easy cleanup! I didn’t even need to wipe anything on before use, and the waffle popped out so easily. Super happy with my purchase!

Doesn't work as hoped

in theory this should make it easier to clean, but i get batter/cheese outside of the plates on the main part of the unit, and that's almost worse than regular waffle makers, because there's extra nooks and crannies for stuff to get into due to holes for the removable plates. also it's not as quick as other waffle makers to cook the batter, and there's no dial for choosing how cooked you want it (i.e., for extra crispy).

The difference between a griddle and a grill

What is the Difference Between a Griddle and Grill? The difference is obvious. Griddles have smooth, flat surfaces. I ordered this because the description stated “Electric Griddle”. It does NOT contain griddle plates. Needless to say, I’m very disappointed, since that is the only thing I would use it for. Unfortunately, I cannot return it because I discarded all the packaging before I took a close look at it.

Quick heating and fast cooking sandwich maker

Tried out the 3 n1. Here are the things I liked: gets hot under 8 minutes, easy to clean, except DO NOT use a generic cheese it will be hard to get off the surface. Cools down quick. Some pointers for new users - make sure to use smaller slices of bread for the sandwich maker or cut of the crust as it will make it a perfect fit. Also make sure after it cools down to wipe it out before storing. This is a smaller version of the larger size. This would be fine for snack size items. If you want a full size sandwich or snack I would go with a regular sized sandwich maker. I have not as of yet tried the other 2 options the waffle maker or the ribbed plate insert. If you buy this sandwich maker don't be alarmed by the light weight plate inserts, it is still well made and does a good job!
