Der Skullerz 8972 Klasse-C-Schutzhelm im Kappenstil + LED-Licht mit 4-Punkt-Aufhängung ist ein robuster, aber dennoch leichter und bequemer Kopfschutz, der die Oberseite des Kopfes vor herabfallenden Gegenständen oder Stößen gegen stationäre Gegenstände schützt. Ein gepolstertes, feuchtigkeitsableitendes und geruchsabweisendes Schweißband und ein oberes Polster säumen die Seiten, die Stirn und die obere Innenseite und sind zum einfachen Austausch abnehmbar. Jealous co workers

I bought this instead of wearing the stupid ones work hands out. Another co worker was jealous and told on me for wearing my own. Safety said mine was better, lighter, and loved the extra features, but since they didn’t give it out I can wear it. So I keep it and wear it for at home tasks. Careful for them jealous types when you wear this at work.

Great

This is basically the same product as the Klein, just at a better price point. Surprisingly comfortable and it stays on your head! It’s saved me countless times from taking a roofing nail to the head while working in my low pitch attic.

Nice and lightweight

Use this hard hat for my welding helmet and I got to say it's great. Purchase it for my welding helmet and adaptor for the side of this hat and even a light for the front is a big bonus. Welding and a place to put a light was a great Purchase ???? now I have to just lift up my hood and turn on the light not waist time on look for light or a flashlight.

Not for use in Ontario construction reg 213/91

Super comfortable but it isn't CSA minimum hat. It's a type 1 but a class c and not a class e. Ontario construction regulation states the minimum is a class 1 (no side impact) class e (e for electrical) because of the vents it can't be rated for electrical shock. So in Ontario under reg 213/91 it doesn't pass minimum requirements. Buyer beware.

Feels nice.

- The hard hat does weigh more than a standard hat. I'm guessing the venting, the adjustable head fastener, the light fastener all add weight along with the extra padding. I would guess about 15% heavier helmet. - The light works nicely but one downside, it uses 3AAA batteries. It would be much better to use a rechargeable pack rather than having to use batteries all the time. They have future options though to maybe add in the motion sensor and rechargeable packs in the future. - The adjustable angle suspension system does help to limit the hat falling off without a chin strap. It can be angled down more so when you look down it is still holding on. - If you have a larger head, like myself at a large size for many helmets, the rear of the hard hat may present some issues. With a standard hard hat from Honeywell of 3M I have about 1/4" clearance between the back of my head and the helmet shell. With this helmet it is reduced to less than 1/8". - The company will provide good service if there is an issue. I am not happy with the clearance at the back of my head, I feel it is a safety issue. The company sent out another helmet at no charge to me. Unfortunately is has the same issue and they sent the wrong style. Maybe the space lost is due to using a standard suspension system with the extra padding at the front causing a more forward mounted shell (not sure). It is a nice helmet if the fit isn't a concern. The fit could be a personal sizing issue, hence the 4 stars. Fits fine on another person who has a smaller head.

Definitely recommend. Great buy for $.

Great purchase. Very comfortable. Have worn it for first time at construction site both indoor and outside in Canadian weather. Material inside keeps your brow cool and dry and the vents are easy to open and close and actually do make quite a difference. The dial adjustment at back is very easy to turn, smoothly operates and good size without being clunky. The light is bright. I found the on off button a bit stiff. The connection and disconnection to helmet is easy and love the fact it has a magnet to attach to metal anywhere should you need it. I've worn two other types of hard hats that I could never get a good fit and they either fell off, slid around or strangled your head because you had to make them so tight to stay on. This one has an adjustable harness height inside. Fits perfectly.

Cons. The ratchet strap in the back when cranked tight pokes into the back of your head, Note, ppl with large heads won't have this problem. Also the pad that sits at the top of the hard hat holds to much heat and is too thick hard hats sits wrong with it left in. I recommend removing it day 1. Pros. Great helmet!

Best hardhat I've worn thus far. The extra padding from temple to temple makes it comfortable and soaks up all the sweat. And the closable vents help to release the extra humid vapor so no more dripping off the front. Plus the hookup for the flashlight is a great idea. I have at least 1 guy/week asking where I got it. Would be nice if it came in other colors than just white and orange.
