Best piano
I bought this gym based on an Amazon review that showed a 2 year old carrying the piano around. My baby loved to kick from the beginning, so I wanted something he could kick. The gym itself is not great. We stopped using it at around 4months old. It’s flimsy and the hanging toys that come with it are very meh. Our baby wasn’t ever very engaged by them and started protesting being put in the gym. If you’re buying this product, buy it for the piano and have in your mind that you’re spending that amount of money on the piano. Like other reviewers have said, the discovery mode plays animal names, numbers, colors, and an animal noise in English, Spanish, and French. If you want to control the language, you should buy this from a retail store. We love the piano because it has grown with our kid and consistently keeps him engaged every day. He wasn’t coordinated enough to kick it while on the mat of the play gym (the mat is slippery). But he would watch the lights as a tiny baby with the piano at his feet in vertical mode, which builds their core and neck muscles. When he started practicing sitting up he loved sitting propped on the floor with the piano in horizontal mode (like a regular keyboard). We attached it to the back of a chair and put him in his bouncer up against the chair so he could kick it. When he started sitting up he played the piano in horizontal mode and started pulling himself up onto the piano to get the lights. Now that he’s pulling up we took the legs off of the piano and he either plays it on the floor or on the couch while standing against the edge of the couch. The piano stays on but doesn’t keep making noise unless he touches it, so when he leaves and comes back to it, it plays again. With our other piano it turns off after a period of inactivity and you have to shut it off and turn it back on. You can press two keys at the same time and both notes play, something our other electronic piano doesn’t do. The keys are some kind of weird sensor, not a physical button. You can make the piano play a note by holding your hand like 1/4inch above the key. Our only complaint is that the ink on the front rubbed off. The piano itself is definitely worth $30, the current sale price. If you’re thinking of buying it, I’d go for.

Encourages baby
Bought it at 3months and he absolutely loved it. Encouraged him to reach for toys and play the piano. Also began to happy squeal and babble a lot. Ide like to thank this play at for that because I had never heard so much excitement being expressed from a baby haha. Keeps him entertained while I clean around the house and eat breakfast uninterrupted :) he is now 5months and happily continues to stare at new toys I hang on the same mat while doing tummy time, he’s officially flipped over by himself.

Variety of activities
There are so many different toys to provide sensory stimulation for babies. The little piano is what my daughter likes most. She is 2 months and enjoys kicking the keys with her feet or tapping them with her hands. It is super easy for a baby to play. The color lights and sounds make her smile and hold her attention. She also likes to look at the different toys as they hang from the toy bars. I highly recommend this. Plus the mat is machine washable! Super awesome!

My 5 month old loves it
I bought this for my 5 month old for some tummy time. He loves the little things that hang on it. They are great teethers. The music part my 2 year old son plays with more but that's because my 5 month is more interested in what is hanging. My 5 month old does like to look at the lights when they are flashing because it gets his attention. It was super easy to put to together and it folds away nicely as well.

Great toy
My daughter loves playing the piano. The loops are in weird spots so when we hang toys we domt use the loops. The discovery mode is a cute idea but doesnt stay on the same topic it just shuffles through the stuff. It has an auto shut off after 5 sec of not using it. U have to click the button to turn it back on vs. The light tapping of a kid. This feature irritates my daughter. Itll turn off and I have to click it back on. Overall amazing toy that we've gotten tons of use out of already and plan to use for a long time. There are stickers on the piano keys. They are not lined up correctly and when cleaning u will have to be careful so ur stickers will last.

Dangerous-don’t buy!
Please do not buy this play gym! It’s terrible value for money and overpriced for what it is. Extremely dangerous! I bought it when my baby was born and we have been using it for less than 6 months. Baby only started properly moving around in the last couple of months. He managed to pull down the flimsy arch within seconds. The mat is super thin and slippery which means it’s not ideal for crawling. As you can see in the image, the plastic support from the arch has come out and is a danger to the baby. Baby Einstein products aren’t cheap! Wish I could give this product negative rating. The only good thing about the gym is the piano-it seems good quality so far and the baby seems to love it.

Baby loves it, but I would not recommend!
This has kept my little one amused for months. She loves all the little hanging toys that come with the gym and is fascinated by the piano and lights. Unfortunately I would not recommend this gym for three reasons (1) the mat is really slim, we’ve got carpet so it’s not too bad, but if you have hard floors you really couldn’t use it (2) one of the plastic poles that sits within the arch has poked through the end making it very dangerous and unusable (3) since about 4 months old all her kicking keeps collapsing the entire gym, which falls on top of her, it’s pretty light so has never hurt her, but I’m forever having to put it back up. Such a shame, as it could be a lovely gym!

The keyboard should just be sold separately as a product
The Keyboard is the best feature of this product. The mat is quite small, my 4month old is too big for it already. Also the arches are very flimsy compared to other play gyms. However, the accessories are good and I have hung these on his other play gyms. My baby already loves the keyboard element and has played with it lots with feet and hands. However the plastic stand attachments for the keyboard aren’t safe as my son has already hit his face off one during tummy time. I am keeping the product but only for the keyboard.

Baby loves the piano!
This is quite a compact play mat compared to others but it’s perfect if you have lack of room! The piano is what makes this gym stand out! The piano has three settings, discovery, piano and song time! If the baby kicks the purple button on discovery either purple is said in English French Spanish, or octopus is said and the voice an octopus makes (which is apparently bubbles under the sea). The hanging toys are okay, colourful and does its purpose to keep baby entertained however be careful the toys are firmly in the hoop as unfortunately when play shaking the arches a toy did fall down to the mat but I believe that’s my own fault as it wasn’t secured in properly! With so many playgyms on the market this is a must have, educational and fun! My 4 week old baby loves to stretch and kick her legs on to the piano and looking at bright colours above! Value for money not so much I do think it should be slightly cheaper but the piano is what makes it worth it!
