Works great
Glad I went with the 120 LED version as it rivals the brightness of the halogen that it replaced even when mounted in the aluminum channels with diffuser. The dimmer switch tames the brightness when needed. I would have been disappointed if the maximum brightness was less. I had about six feet of led on either side of the transformer and didn't experience any significant voltage drop and I used 20ga wire.

Great lights
I used these lights as kitchen undercounter lights. They are as bright as one might ask for. My only disappointment is that the color is not variable. They are 4,000 degrees while the overhead lights in the kitchen have five variable light colors, ranging from 2,700 to 5,000. Nevertheless, these are great lights.

NICE LIGHTS
THESE ARE VERY NICE LIGHTS AND BRIGHT I INSTALLED UNDER MY NEW KITCHEN CABINETS AND THEY LOOK AMAZING AND SO FAR THE ADHISIVE THAT IS ON THE LIGHTS HAVE HELD UP THERE NOT FALLING OFF THE BOTTOM OF THE CABINETS AND I ALSO STUCK THEM ON THE GRANITE COUNTERTOP UNDER THE ISLAND OVER HANG AND STILL HOLDING UP

Generally satisfied, the closer spacing of the LEDs makes for uniform lighting.
First experience with LED strip lights. Mostly positive experience. The 2700K is very warm, I expect going to 3000K would have been better in my case. I think that if the light is going to be truly indirect the bouncing may cause the harshness of the whiter color ranges to mellow. The strip is very narrow, which make placement easier but if you solder the wiring it can be tight. The spacing on the solder points is around 18 inches which can be annoying. My installation has then adhered at 45 degrees on the ceiling. Inspecting after two weeks had a few spots where the adhesion was failing, but its possible I didn't thoroughly press the entire strip during install. They are adhering to mdf painted with primer.

Good for undercabinets but not bigger jobs
I did a project of using the Armacost large transformer and about 28 feet of this Armacost 120-LED ribbon. The project was to replace a long set of flourescent fixtures that were indirectly lighting my midcentury modern ceiling. (In the past, I used some of this to do undercabinet lighting in a laundry room.) I would never attempt this again. For undercabinet, this works well as long as you have someplace to put the transformer! But for this big job, several unexpected issues arose. First off, the ribbon is very hard to work with at long length. I found the adhesive doesn't stick well, the ribbon doesn't like to stay flat, it smells yukky, and even the 120-LED ribbon really isn't bright enough to do much other than accent lighting for a ceiling. It's very bright when you're 2 feet away, like a kitchen counter under a cabinet, but the light doesn't seem to go much farther than that. Also, the transformer and the ribbon LED's get crazy hot very quickly. I'm not confortable taping the ribbon at this heat level to wood, so I had to rig up using a metal molding -- tons of work I wish I had never gotten involved with. Also, at longer lengths, you can see that Armacost recommends you put the transformer in the middle of the run. That meant I had to extend my house wiring -- what a pain. I feel silly that I didn't just buy a few linkable 4 or 8 foot LED fixtures that run around $30 apiece and plug into an outlet (or hard wire) at one end. (I used these in my shop room and they installed in minutes and work fine though are not dimmable.)

Expensive, but worth it.
I bought the 33' version, cut it into 2 strips and soldered them in series as shown in the picture. It puts out plenty of light using the Armacost 60watt power supply (sold separately) . I went with the dimming power supply and it works like a charm with a Lutron Diva switch. I shopped around and this appeared to be the best/brightest/dimmable LED strip around.

Easy to install with a great finished look
Used as under-cabinet lighting these work very well. The 120 LED per meter version provides a lot of light for food prep and, if used with a dimmer, can provide a nice ambience at night when regular room lighting isn't necessary.
