Too tight through arch
These boots are visually exactly what I want. Understated, but still with a bit of color. The color of leather was perfect (for me) and I didn't mind that they will easily get scuffed and look lived in. However, I say this as that might bother some. They also definitely seem like something that would be good to ride in and not just as something to wear out. While I didn't stand in them for a while (see next paragraph), I think they would be comfortable if they fit properly. And that is coming from someone who's feet can't take all those thin soled shoes that reviews say "I could stand in these all day." However, these boots did not work for me. I am flat footed with a normal to wide foot and I'd say average calf size. The boots weren't too tight or too loose around my calves. For those who wear size 7 on other Ariat boots, I found the boot length seemed in line with all but one other pair of Ariat boots I've owned/tried on. I found the toe box not roomy, but my toes had enough room. The issue was in the arch area. While the boot was only a bit narrow for my taste, it was not tall enough. Not only was it challenging to get my foot into the boot, they were very tight across the top of my feet. Specifically, top close to the inside of my feet. Enough that I don't want to bet that breaking them in will be enough.

You can wear this boot anywhere you like.
I love the boots. The toe box is tight at first but once you break them in. You will love them as much as I do. I would highly recommend these boots. They are a great fit. They are also water proof and comfortable.

Comfort on my feet, room for toes, no crowding
I wasn't sure about wearing them most of the day, I haven't worn closed shoes for quite some time. They are very comfortable.

Beautiful
I usually wear a 9.5 to 10 in shoes. These are my third pair of Ariat brand boots. According to Amazon, I needed to order an 9. They came in today and they are tight around the top/ankle.But my other boots were the same so I'm sure they will stretch out when they break in a couple of days. I'll write an update then. ***1 week update***: These boots are doing alright. The right boot has broke in beautifully. The left boot on the other hand, is STILL tight around my ankle. So tight that I had to look at the boot closely to make sure that I didn't get the wrong size. It just refuses to stretch out in the ankle area. But I'm still able to take my boots on and off without struggle. All of my boots that I've ever purchased in my life have never had an issue like this. Both my feet are the same size, etc. I guess I'll have to find a way to stretch that area out.*shrugs*

Too small for my feet
To be fair with my review, I just want to say that I was planing on using these boots for work inside of a western-themed resaurant (hence the absolute need for specified oil & non-slip soles). Additionally, I want to say that I LOVE the way these boots look. The critique I have for these boots is only for the fit of them. For me personally, they are WAY too small. My calves fit great, my heel was just fine, but from my arch to my toes, it felt like I was getting the life squeezed out of them. I could literally feel my metatarsals being squeezed together. I was hoping since it was square toed, that I’d have enough room to be comfortable, but that was far from the case. While I do understand that they’d break in after wearing them for so long, the problem is that it caused me pain to even wear these around the house for even just 20 minutes. I have bunions (as shown in pictures so y’all can see how mine really aren’t severe compared to others), and the pain from the pressure was too much. On a positive note, I loved that I could confortably wear my jeans inside of them to show off the cute design and subtle pop of color. Detailed notes would also be that I purchased the size 7.5, and since they don’t currently have the size 8 in stock in this color, I’ll be purchasing the size 8.5 to see if that’d be a better fit for me because I really do love the look of these boots!

Amazing fit and a beautiful boot!
The fit was perfect. All other boots I tried I couldn’t get on passed my instep. They slid on like a glove and are super comfortable. You can wear them all day! Plus, the Amazon photo doesn’t due them justice they are prettier in person.

Theses are beautiful, great quality boots!! I order the wrong size because I didn't know how to measure a foot properly when it comes to cowboy boots. I totally would have kept them if I could have found someone in my family that could have fit them.

Great riding boots
Perfect for riding. Comfortable. Had the boots for 2 weeks now. Took a week to break in. I wear size 8 regular and they fit a bit snug but now are good.
