Exceptional Quality and Versatility for Extreme Winter Conditions
The Arctix Men's Icecap Jacket is an exceptional choice for those seeking a high-quality winter jacket that can provide warmth and comfort during cold weather conditions. Having recently purchased this jacket, I have been exceedingly satisfied with its performance. Notably, the jacket's construction is of superior quality, with its exterior made of durable, water-resistant fabric that can withstand severe winter weather. Furthermore, the interior is lined with a soft and cozy fleece material that offers comfort and warmth, even in sub-zero temperatures. Another outstanding feature of the Arctix Men's Icecap Jacket is its versatility. Its lightweight and breathable design make it a perfect choice for a wide range of outdoor activities, including skiing, snowboarding, and hiking, where it consistently performs exceptionally well. It is worth noting, however, that the jacket tends to run small. Therefore, it is advisable to order one size up from your regular size to ensure a proper fit. Nevertheless, once you have the right size, this jacket is incredibly comfortable and easy to wear. All things considered, I highly recommend the Arctix Men's Icecap Jacket to anyone in need of a reliable and versatile winter jacket. Its quality construction, comfort, and exceptional performance in even the most extreme winter conditions make it an excellent investment that can last for many years to come. Here are some tips and tricks about the Arctix Men's Icecap Jacket: Layer up: The Arctix Men's Icecap Jacket is designed to keep you warm in extreme cold conditions, but it's always a good idea to layer up for added warmth. Wear a thermal shirt or base layer under the jacket for maximum insulation. Adjust the cuffs: The cuffs of the Arctix Men's Icecap Jacket are adjustable, so make sure to tighten them to prevent cold air from entering the sleeves. Use the hood: The hood of the Arctix Men's Icecap Jacket is detachable, so you can remove it when not needed. However, it's highly recommended to use it in extreme cold conditions to protect your head and neck from the cold. Zipper Care: The zipper of the Arctix Men's Icecap Jacket is designed to be durable, but it's always a good idea to lubricate it with some zipper lubricant or beeswax to keep it running smoothly. Wash and dry correctly: To prolong the life of the jacket, make sure to follow the washing and drying instructions on the label. It's recommended to wash the jacket in cold water and tumble dry on low heat. Store properly: When not in use, store the jacket in a cool, dry place. Avoid storing it in direct sunlight or damp areas, as this can damage the fabric. Consider your activity level: The Arctix Men's Icecap Jacket is designed for extreme cold weather conditions, so it may be too warm for activities like hiking or skiing. Consider your activity level and the weather conditions before wearing the jacket. Choose the right size: Make sure to choose the right size of the Arctix Men's Icecap Jacket for optimal comfort and warmth. The jacket should fit snugly but not too tight, allowing for a full range of motion.

Zipper
Like the jacket, could use more pockets. Zipper is not as heavy duty as previous jacket, plus not two way. Not sure if this lighter zipper will hold up, will need to be lubricated to work well. Good that it’s helmet compatible.

Very warm coat that runs true to size
Sizing: This coat measures right in the middle of the listed measurements on the size chart. It has no stretch to it. So, if you're on the upper end of a size, or if you want to layer, consider sizing up. Warmth: This coat is very warm. It's essentially a ski jacket/coat. Windproof: It's not windproof, but it's close. Water resistance: Good, but water/rain/snow will soak through on particularly wet days. Overall quality: The material is good, stitching is perfect, and all zippers and buttons function well. 4 stars

Great Jacket!
I am 6'2", ~200lbs, moderately athletic build, my normal shirt size is a Large or Large Tall, and I opted to get the XL, which is perfect for my needs. This winter jacket performs quite well for its price point. Starting there, I see MSRP ~$93, sale presently ~$67 (I'm product testing through Vine, but I'm a price sensitive consumer). This price point is very important for setting product expectations and might be helpful for others to hear my thoughts calibrated to cost. As a ~$100 jacket, I'd say it performs well. As a ~$60 jacket, it is excellent! Hence my 4 stars - when on sale, I say don't hesitate. My biggest gripe is that the zipper feels a little cheap and rough. It's a coarse zipper, so those can get catchy when skimped on. It's functional, but you do need two contentious hands on it to reliably zip up. Again, that gripe only manifests in docked stars when you compare it to ~$100 jackets that build quality into the smaller details of coats. At lower price points, you expect coarse zippers. This is a lighter outer jacket, so I sized with plans to layer underneath as needed. The XL, for me, is perfect for this. My test run was shoveling my drive and walk. Going out pretty well bundled for cold, and stripping under layers as my effort generated heat, I ended with just this jacket keeping me dry from snow spray, which it does quite nicely. The inner liner fastens around your mid section, and it has thumb holes for the sleeves, which allows you to integrate this jacket into your next garment, keeping cold leaks from the joints between your gloves and pants - I love this feature, and have not seen it on jackets until you get to the pricey range. Hood is roomy enough for a ski helmet, and has draws to pull tighter as needed. Honesty, I'm shocked the manufacturer doesn't list the features of this jacket, because they are brag-worthy! I really like this jacket, it is now my primary winter outer layer for wet activities. Likely what it comes down to for most buyers is features for the price point - I'd say it is an incredible ~$60 jacket, and a good ~$100 jacket.
