SUPER QUIET

I haven’t written a review for a while, but this filter is so quiet i had to rate this product I don’t even notice it’s on. The two filters are easy to switch out and the led indicator lets me know when it’s time. It was very easy to set up and I had it running inless than 5 minutes. I highly recommend.

My last one lasted 6 years!

I started my small aquarium 6 years ago and have not had any problems with the filter until the other day when it quit completely- so of course I bought the same one to replace it. Very happy with the filter overall.

Not for smaller tanks

As some other reviewers have noted, the Aqueon QuietFlow isn't completely quiet, but I found it to be an improvement over other similar filters. And it does a dandy job of keeping the tank clean. Its simple design makes it a good choice for the beginner. The filters drop right in and the parts are easy to figure out and access. However, you can't control the flow rate. I bought an inexpensive baffle to disperse the water as it comes out, so it doesn't create a pummeling waterfall effect. I think I also need to cover the intake with a small sponge. It tends to suck in plant bits.

Quiet

came pretty fast. im not sure about anyone eles but i love that water sound from the filter dripping into water. A little to quit for me. But works as it should! no huge complaints.

So far so good!!

The media could not be loaded. sure it's not the most quiet thing but it's a really nice calming White Noise…… the noise seems way louder than it actually is in the video. It makes my water so clear compared to my old filter. My fish seem to be thriving. There's a red light on top that blinks when it's clogged which is really nice so you know when to change the cartridge also, don't mind the snail floating he does that sometimes. I have never seen this Fishtank so clear.

Best 10gal filter out there!

I've tried two different Tetra filters and they were quiet, but they didn't actually have the power to keep the tank clean. This filter (although has a humming sound), actually cleans and has the pressure to be able to keep the water cycling and picking up gunk in the tank and processing it out. I have two 10 gallon tanks and I use this filter for both and it works great. One tank has 3 lyretail mollies and a couple snails and another has an axolotl. A lot of time, I don't even have to replace the filter cartridge completely and am able to throughly rinse it off. Although that's not recommended, it still keeps the tank clear. There's a lot of complaints about the sound and I think that's a given with a truly functional tank filter. The goal is to push the water around and simulate real moving water and clear out gunk. This is definitely the way to go and is a great price. Totally recommend for 10 gallon tanks!

El filtro es silencioso y efectivo, pero no puedes agregarle carga biológica y los cartuchos siempre traen carbón activado, por lo que considero que es un filtro para principiantes
