Nice for layering but too tight and very long sleeves.

This shirt is a nice shirt for layering but is very tight fitting. I always wear a small but in this I should have ordered a medium. I have a petite build and so most things are too long in the sleeves and legs but these are even longer than normal. These would be perfect for tall thin women with longer arms. They are made well and of good quality fabric and wash in the machine well. I really like the shirts, they just don’t fit as I expected them to.

Slim fit indeed

These are most certainly slim fit...or maybe skin fit. Hospitals can be freezing so I like to wear a long sleeved layer under my scrubs. I'm normally a small but ordered a large since I don't like my shirts to ride up my waist. I'd previously ordered a medium and they were way too tight and rolled up my waist. The large was perfect for the kind of fit I like! Tight fit aside, these are nice. The rib knit is warm and comfortable against my skin. The stitching is even, fabric has no snags or runs. Crew neck line is great to make sure I don't show more than I want to when bending over providing patient care.

Slim fitting

I know the description says slim fitting so I sized up because I prefer looser fit, but even still it was tight. So it would make a great under shirt for layering. Other than that, the material is soft and stretchy and very comfortable. Slightly see through. -wife’s review

Basic Black Tee With A Twist

I found that this shirt is pretty true to the size chart in the listing. It is slim fit and it is body hugging. If you don't want it to be completely form fitting, I would suggest sizing up one or two sizes. I am 5'9" tall and have a long torso. The hem comes down to my low hip. The sleeves are also plenty long enough. The material is soft, but not soft like jersey knit. You can definitely feel that this is a cotton blend, which according to the listing it is 53% Cotton, 35% Modal, 12% Elastane. Modal is made from beech tree cellulous and the production process uses 10-20% less water than cotton, making it generally accepted as more eco-friendly than cotton. I like the rib knit detailing. I think that makes it unique from other long sleeve tee shirts. I also think the overall quality of the fabric is good. I am not crazy about the seams at the caps of the shoulders. The seams are a little too squared off to fit smoothly around my shoulders. It's not a total deal breaker for me, but these shirts will likely be reserved for layering when I run outdoors, rather than every day wear.

Nice shirts, reasonably priced, but runs smaller than they say

These shirts are nice stretchy soft material and are nice and long which is great for both wear tucked or untucked, but they are more snug than suggested in the sizing chart. I would normally have ordered a large, but based on the chart a medium should have fit; so I ordered that but it is very snug across the bust and tight under the arms. The length of the torso and the arms is generous though.

Fits small and tight--good for base layer

I ordered this pack of two long-sleeved crew neck shirts for my daughter because she's a big fan of the brand and has had really good luck with their tees in the past. These shirts are soft and well-made; the rib knit is thicker than an ordinary t-shirt type knit fabric, so they would be a good choice for a winter base layer. My daughter is 5'9" tall, with a slender build; she has a 35.5" bust and found the size medium to fit much smaller than other medium shirts she has in this brand. Despite the stretchiness of the rib knit, she found the bust area to feel tight, and it is very form-fitting. I'd suggest sizing up one size if you don't want the shirt to emphasize your curves. Length is good in both body and sleeves, but we haven't washed the shirts yet and they may shrink a bit. We're giving this shirt a five-star rating because it IS advertised as a slim fit, and because the fabric is soft and comfortable. The black color does seem to attract and show white dog hairs (but that's pretty normal when you have a big hairy dog).

Soft, Comfy, Quality

These white shirts are great! They are so soft, well constructed, and fit great. The price is also very fair given the quality. These shirts surpassed my expectations and I would order again.

Comfy and stretchy!

This is a basic layering shirt -- kind of like long underwear style. But it has a nice heft to it, so you could wear it as a long-sleeve top on its own. The ribbed fabric adds a bit of style to an otherwise plain shirt. It's super comfy and stretchy thanks to the ribbed fabric, a cotton and modal blend, and elastane content. I've got short arms, so the sleeves are definitely long on me, but women with regular or long arms should be pretty happy with the length. Really nice basic item -- I can understand why Amazon calls it an "essential."
