Easy to install

Great product I used to seal the gap between my new barn door and the door opening to allow for more privacy. Easy to apply and blends with the white door, so it is not even noticed.

The wider weatherstripping is a better choice

We ordered the thinner weatherstripping, because we did not see the wide available. The adhesion is fair. If you don't open your windows and only need to apply the weather-stripping one time, this is better than not weatherstripping. However, if you open your windows for outside air circulation or to clean them, oftentimes the weather-stripping has fallen off.

Great for my storm door!

Did not hold up even one year in Houston

I bought this weatherstrip for the convenience of peel and stick. At first I was very pleased with it - it went up easily and sealed my doors well. However, less than 6 months later in early summer it started to peel off in places and I couldn't get it to stick back on. I should mention that the worst peeling occurred on a west-facing door that got several hours of blazing Houston sun each afternoon. There was less peeling on a second door from an interior hall to the garage. I had to completely re-weatherstrip the west-facing door with the kind of weatherstrip that slides into a channel. On the second door I was able to salvage the M-D weatherstrip by securing it with a few small nails here and there. Conclusion: not a great choice for high heat conditions but ok for more protected locations.

Saves money

Instant sealing of windows and doors. Sealed my garage door from auto fumes. Potentially lifesaving. And 100 year old windows and doors from drafts- saving money during cold season. I tear them in half down the middle and put the seal against the moving parts. Those 100 year old wood windows should last another 100 years. Just kidding- they are better than getting new vinyl windows after this.

Great product, easy to use

If you're looking for an easy way to winterize windows, this is it. I live in the South so we don't need a lot and this works and is easy to use and I'm and older person. They were sold out at Lowes, so ordered 4 of these and they arrived very quickily. Great product.

Misleading information in dimensions

I needed 15ft for a project. The package stated 17ft. What they failed to mention is to get 17 ft of material, it needs to be split in half and run it lengthwise. Needless to say, I ran out and was forced to source out locally. Please update your information to include this detail.
