Nice lamp, but color not as expected

I was expecting this to be more silver but it looks more beige, so it really doesn't match my daughters room (which has a lot of silver or gray accessories). having said that, the lamp was easy to put together and its a nice lamp. I'm too lazy to send it back and my daughter doesn't seem to care.

Wrong shade and damaged product

I was so disappointed becasue I bought this lamp to go along with the table lamp recommedned by the company. I love the table lamp. However, this wrong color (supposed to be gray linen) lamp shade came with the floor lamp, it was damaged, the stand does not stay up straight and the place you insert the bulb is bent. I included a pic of the table lamp so you can see the difference. The company has been good- they reply very quickly via email and late on Friday I simply requested a new, CORRECT shade. Over the weekend the bulb kept turning off itself and that is when I noticed the damage there. I am retruning the entire lamp. Very easy to assemble. Hope this was just an anomaly.

Lamp

It was in fact a lamp on arrival, so that was a plus. It also illiminates my chosen room via light from a bulb so it's has all the lampy qualities you would look for. I broke it within 5 minutes of setting it up but let's be honest, that one is on me. 4 stars only because they didn't have the foresight to make the part I broke out of some sort of titanium alloy.

Not what I expected...

Not what I expected. The lamp leans and does not stand up straight, (yes, I made sure everything was all screwed together correctly & tight enough). However, it was to go behind my couch so I can use a blanket to hold it more upright. I agree with another review here - too much hassle to ship back so I kept it. Also, when I connected the pole to the base there was a problem. When you push through the pole part through the base, you'll secure it with a washer and bolt. The washer was actually in the way and I wasn't able to connect it. I had to break off the washer so that the nut could screw around the pole part. Very odd.

Nice lamp. You definitely want to go with a very low wattage bulb with this one. Easy to assemble. Lamp seems sturdy enough, although I can see how the on/off winding switch mechanism could become a bit loose over time. I'll probably buy another one as it gives off such a nice soft light.

Very nice lamp

I ordered 2 of these to sit behind my nightstands, they are the perfect height, the shades are a soft gray, and they go together easily. They stand up straight, no lean. My only dislike of this is that the warning label is literally at eye level on the front side of the socket.

I love this lamp

I was a bit skeptical after reading the reviews but I liked the look of it so bought it anyway knowing I could return if it wasn’t what I expected. I was very pleasantly surprised. I don’t know why other reviews mentioned that it didn’t stand up correctly or leaned. I believe maybe they put it together incorrectly after taking it out of the box, it was perfectly packed, no damage, put it together and it makes a great addition to my living room
