Happy with it

This was the best looking shelved lamp I was able to find. I thought it was a tad pricey and that I wouldn't care about the charging station, but I was wrong. Now that I've had it for a few weeks, I can say that I use the wireless charger as well as the two USB slots quite often. The assembly was challenging only because the threading on two rods were not good and I had to get help by having someone else hold the bottom rod, while I twist-forced the top rod in securely. It was enough force that my hands hurt the next morning. It throws a nice amount of filtered light in a pretty large family room with dark walls.

Absolutely beautiful, half the Pottery Barn price for the same exact lamp

This lamp is beautiful and sturdy, so I disagree with the one star review below. However, #1 the box was missing the allen wrench, so had to call a friend for help; #2 assembly is a bit complicated, so do read the manual and understand how it works before putting together; #3 one of the threads on the top part is off, please see pictures attached, so had to call for replacement. But do want to keep the lamp, as it is absolutely gorgeous and goes well with the interior. I will update this review if replacement comes with defect.

Pottery barn for half the price

This is identical to an item being sold by pottery barn. It is very easy to assemble, one fourth is almost done when it arrives to hide the power chord. Box was severely damaged upon arrive, but product was not.

Cool lamp

This lamp is easy to assemble and looks really cool. The phone charger built into the shelf is really nice for our phones. The shelves are great for books, remotes, etc.

Don’ buy this lamp!

I am only the 2nd person to review this product, and if I could give it a zero, I would. I am pretty handy and have done many home improvements and assembled many things in my life. My wife ordered this lamp and I had no idea what was coming, just that it had 3 shelves and a phone charger... presentation is everything. You know how when you purchase a new iPhone or iPad it is packaged very well and easy to view and get to the product? Not this lamp. By the time I cut the packing tape away from the lamp parts, cardboard and styrofoam, 20 minutes had passed. The box was intact (thank God, as I am sending it back) but the foam and cardboard were in minute pieces, looked like a pit bull tore through it. The lamp cord is woven through the 3 shelves and through some of the piping which makes it difficult to assemble. I was 1.5 hours into this thing when I was left with a pipe piece that was not correct, so the assembly turned into a disassembly. Also, despite not having the last pipe to finish the job (due to the factory sending the wrong length pipe) the lamp was very shaky and not sturdy at all. Had they shipped all the correct parts, the lamp still would have been weak. The directions say the table lamp “holds 4 pounds”. That right there suggests a light duty product. So in closing, 2 hours wasted on this inferior product. Avoid at all costs, especially for the price!

Beautiful lamp! Easy to build!

Very happy with the product! The lamp was easy to put together, everything was packaged properly, and now I have a great lamp with a bonus wireless charger! Some reviewers on this site and other notes the threading not being reliable, thankfully, I didn’t have any issue. The threaded metal poles went together easily and without struggle.

These men that are whining about assembling this lamp are pathetic!! I’ve put many lamps together that have the cords running through the poles/shelves with absolutely no problem (: so what if it takes a little bit of effort! Get over it! And to the one guy that said because the description read that the shelves hold 4 lbs must mean that it’s not such a high quality product (or something along those lines), guess what man: there is such a thing as reading the info BEFORE you buy! LOL!! Even if it was your wife that picked it out (:
