acorn embroidery in a bad spot

The embroidered acorn on the inside of the heel of the slipper is an irritant. It's all I feel in the middle of the otherwise soft and comfy lining. Hard(er) material right on the heel. Why would they put that there???Unfortunately I have to send these back. Very disappointed.

Warm But A Bit Small

These Acorn Men's Recycled Callum Hoodback Slipper with Indoor/Outdoor Sole, Berber Upper are some warm house slippers made of recycled materials that fit a bit snug on my feet but are still comfortable, even though I don't wear them all that much around the house, but that has been the case with every pair of house slippers I've ever owned. These slippers have a warm lining on the top portion which makes these great for when the temps are low and the bottom portion is tough enough to be worn inside the house and for quick trips outside the house as well. I would just advise to avoid getting these wet at all costs as they can quickly absorb any moisture and become very uncomfortable as well as giving off a wet dog like odor. I took a star off because of the inconsistent fit between the two slippers. On my left foot they fit perfect, but on my right foot they are snug almost to the point of being uncomfortable because of how my toes rub against the slipper. It isn't an issue that I've had with any other pairs of shoes or slippers before so it was instantly noticeable and disappointing that two slippers of the same size would fit so differently. Overall, other than the sizing issue these are decent slippers, but for me at least, I can't wear them for extended periods of time because they make the toes on my right foot hurt after a while and I'm just not a huge house slipper guy. 4/5 stars.

Toasty but snug

Overall these are pretty cozy slippers. They fit and stay on my feet, they're pretty warm, and they're nice and soft. But they're maybe a little on the small side -- they're pretty snug and they don't breathe particularly well. Normally, I like to wear a pair of socks with my slippers so that my feet won't sweat, but there's not really enough room in these to comfortably wear socks with them. So, still I recommend them, but maybe order a size bigger than you'd expect.

Not Exactly Sleek or Sophisticated

Fundamental: these slippers are a little bit ugly, but I like them. - The perfect size for me is 10W, I ordered the 1.5-11.5 and they fit fine, easy to slip on and off, but they don't fall off when I'm walking around the house. - Plenty of padding and insulation inside, but still with some air movement in and out of the slippers: my feet are comfortable and warm but they don't sweat. - If you want a tight fit you might want to go with a size down; these aren't shoes, they will "flop" up and down as you walk around. - The little tags inside the slippers are a little annoying, they are inside the slipper at the edge of the sole, just in front of your heel, on the outside of your foot, and they are a little thick and "rigid" stick up enough that you feel them when you walk around. I will probably just cut them out, After a week of use, I'm pretty happy with them.

Supportive sole and comfortable fit

I got these after a nearly new pair of dearfoams split right across the sole. These are a lot pricier but the quality seems to be excellent. The sole is very supportive and I like the foam cushioned feel to the interior. The outer sole has plenty of grip on slippery tile and hardwood and is non marking. The berber is a bit odd looking, in my opinion, but you stop really noticing it after a while. The fit is wide and comfortable and I really like the fact that it has a back to keep the slipper securely on your foot. The berber and the lining are both recycled which is something I really appreciate. Hopefully they will last a long time and not add to the landfill anytime soon like my previous pair from a different company

Incredibly Comfortable

Looking at the stitching and material, these slippers definitely seem well made. The soles are a bit like a driving moc, and while it gives some traction, there are no grooves to catch anything -- so if you do wear them on your deck or porch, the soles will not pick up any pebbles or other debris and track it inside. My foot is a medium width and like most slippers, these are a bit on the wide side. I chose the Natural, and I really like the appearance of these slippers. They have that "curled up by the fire in flannel pj's" vibe, and the fact that they're made out of recycled materials is a nice bonus. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the $77 price tag. That's a bit much.
